How to Replace a Headlight Bulb in a 2002 Toyota Solara

    • 1). Raise the Solara's hood. Push the tab on the electrical connector, and pull it off the wiring harness.

    • 2). Twist the bulb and retaining ring a quarter turn counterclockwise. Pull the bulb and socket backward out of the car. Pull the bulb from the socket.

    • 3). Push the new bulb into the socket. Insert the bulb into the light assembly, and turn it a quarter turn clockwise to lock the retaining ring.

    • 4). Push the electrical connection into place until it clicks. Repeat the process on the opposite light. Close the hood before testing the new bulbs.
